Chapter 1:
TIL's Death
Elsa was asleep in her room aboard the spaceship, of which she was tossing and turning in her sleep as nightmares were running through her head.
A girl was stood by a lake but it was dark and her image was not clear but someone snuck up behind her and knife plunged through her back.
The knife came out and the girl dropped to the floor, she was more clearly visible on the floor with falling near to a lamp post. She was young, no more than seventeen years old with curly hair and dressed in denim clothing.
Elsa woke up from the dream in shock. The lights quickly came on in her room automatically.
"Elsa, is everything all right? Was that a bad dream?" Sack Racer asked in concern.
"Yeah, I'll be fine, could you turn out the lights again please and let me get back to sleep?" Elsa replied.
"Of course" Sack Racer replied.
The lights went out and Elsa went back to sleep, this time a young teenage boy was standing in the spot where the girl had been, though it was again there was a tree link symbol that was still quite noticeable on the lad's T-shirt. A knife was plunged through the back of him.
Elsa almost screamed this time as she woke up, it was the same dream again only this time a different vicitm. That did it, she couldn't sleep anymore and yet again Sack Racer turned the lights on automatically. Elsa got straight up out of bed and rushed for the flight deck in her pyjamas. When she reached the flight deck iSlayer was on the flight deck with his daughter Trakina.
"Something wrong Elsa?" iSlayer asked.
"I had a bad dream, in fact it repeated with two murdered victims" Elsa said.
"Hmm...you seem to have some kind of psychic power, I think that maybe your dream may come true. We have plans to visit a near by planet the name eludes us at the moment but that's where we're headed. They've just had a competition for something on the planet and there were three winners, well one but should anything happen to them then the grand prize will go to the runner ups" iSlayer explained.
"I guess we're too late for the competition then" Elsa said.
"Yeah, but still I'm sure that Rebecca Calarvey is more than deserving of the prize" iSlayer said.

On the planet that they were going to, a group of the authorities were out by the area that Elsa had seen in her dream, of which there was the dead teenage girl from Elsa's dream lying on the ground.
"Rebecca Calarvey" one of the authorities recognised her.
"Didn't she win in that big competition?" the lead inspector asked without even looking round at the person that spoke.
"Yes inspector, I guess TIL will get the prize now" the man replied.
"Well this is life" the inspector said.
The man grinned that was working with the authorities considering that they called him TIL short for This_is_life92.
On the main spaceship, the report of what had happened on the planet was shown on the main display screen.
Elsa, iSlayer, Draden and Loopy were looking at the screen.
"That's the girl from my dream, that's means the young guy killed after him is still going to happen" Elsa said, she felt worried. She knew her quest was to try and stop it from happening.
"It obviously hasn't happened yet and from the footage we have of the planet the guy's name is TIL we just look for TIL and tell him to keep out of the competition" Draden said.
"You think that's what it is? The winners being killed?" Elsa asked.
"According to the information Jack Van Rosenburg is the leader of the competition and must grand the winner 20,000 credits however he doesn't have that kind of money to simply give away as a prize. He only has 5,000 credits made from the competition lucky guess he's killing the winners to keep the money for himself" iSlayer explained.
"Yeah we got to find a way to save TIL" Draden insisted.
"Let's go" Elsa said.
"I can hack that planet's computer system and get you TIL's address and then you can go and talk to him directly" iSlayer said.
"Do it" Draden ordered.

A few hours later Elsa and Draden were down on the planet and they had found where TIL lived, of which Draden had decided to take charge so he knocked on the door.
"Oh come in, I'm too lazy to open the door" a male voice called from inside.
Draden tried the door but it was locked.
"It's locked" Draden called into the house.
"Who locked the door? That's just great I got to get up and unlock the door now? Oh yes now I think about it, I must have locked it last night when I went to bed" a voice inside could be heard.
The door was soon unlocked and it was TIL that answered the door.
"TIL" Elsa said.
"You some kind of creep, I don't even know you and in fact I've never in seen you before, go away and leave me alone" TIL ordered and he began to close the door in their faces when Draden put his hand out to stop him.
"Stop, we're here to help you, we believe that you're life is in danger" Draden explained.
"My life is in danger, why would my life be in danger? Just because my best friend Rebecca was killed today, doesn't mean that my life is in danger" TIL snapped.
"Rebecca was your best friend, I'm so sorry but you must believe us we can't explain why but if you go out to that lake tonight you're life is over" Elsa explained.
"But that's where we have to go to get our prize" TIL insisted.
"Right now that Rebecca's dead you get the prize for the competition let me guess, you get the prize at the lake in the middle of the night with no one around" Draden gathered.
"Yeah I guess it's a bit odd but come on" TIL said.
"You're being set up TIL" Elsa explained.
"Rubbish I'm collecting that prize tonight and nothing is going to stop me now clear off before I call the authorities to throw your butts in jail" TIL threatened.
"Please listen to us TIL, we're trying to save your life" Draden begged.
"Like I said you must leave immediately or you will regret meeting the great and mighty This_is_life92" TIL said.
TIL managed to push Draden away from the door and he closed it. He quickly locked the door and slid a bolt across.
"Well I guess we can't help someone that doesn't want to be helped" Draden said.
"Poor TIL, we must try and think of another way to stop the murder" Elsa said.
"Hmm...distraction, we must think of a way to keep TIL away from the lake tonight" Draden insisted.
"But how, he won't believe us and if we tell him I'm psychic he'll think we're nuts" Elsa said.
"Yeah, we need to come up with a good plan and fast" Draden insisted.

FINAL CHAPTER
Elsa and Draden had decided that in order to save TIL they would wait outside of his house that night and try to distrct TIL when he went for his prize.
The sky was dark but Elsa and Draden were struggling to stay awake and eventually they both fell asleep under the starry sky.
As Elsa slept she saw another person killed in the same spot in her dream, clearly after TIL's death there was going to be another. She was suddenly woken up by an eagle flying through the sky, it woke up Draden as well.
Sirens could be heard in the distance by the lake. Elsa and Draden got to their feet shocked, they're plan had completely backfired and through their failed attempts to save TIL, TIL was now dead. The sirens were clearly emergency services rushing to the scene of the crime where TIL would have been stabbed in the back.
"We failed" Elsa said, she almost had tears streaming from her eyes.
"I know how could we fail like this?" Draden asked.
"Let's go and investigate we must find the killer, I had another vision last night about someone else being killed, we should try to save that person next" Elsa said.
"Right" Draden agreed.
Without further delay they rushed to the lake and arrived at the lake just as they were taking the dead body away that was wrapped up.
The same Inspector was there investigating the situation along with the same assistant.
"Another dead body, I will find out who is doing these murders, I simply will not allow it" the Inspector said.
"Poor TIL" Elsa said sadly as she looked around.
"What about TIL?" The Inspector asked.
Elsa looked round and standing in the distance was TIL with a huge grin on his face. Elsa looked back at the inspector shocked. Her vision was a complete fake.
"It wasn't TIL that was killed, he declined his prize from the competition, it was sudden and he gave no reason" the Inspector said. He walked over to the body that was wrapped up and opened it up for Elsa to see. It was the victim from Elsa's most recent dream.
"OMG" Elsa said in concern.
"Now why did you think it was TIL?" the Inspector asked.
"Because they got a hunch that I'd take the prize and get myself killed for it Inspector and you shouldn't take it as a joke either. I was supposed to get my prize there last night, if I hadn't of declined I'd be dead now" TIL explained.
The Inspector groaned.

A while later Elsa and Draden had returned aboard the spaceship, of which Elsa was sat at the table on the flight deck opposite Draden.
Elsa was rather shocked and looked rather down with what had happened, if only she'd known but then she felt her psychic power was good and strong but her power had got something wrong. She couldn't put her mind to but if only she'd have known then maybe she could have saved someone else.
"Don't beat yourself up over it Elsa, you did great but I guess we can't always save everyone though still I'm puzzled with TIL he hated us for turning up and telling him the truth and then he declined the prize anyway and made the vision fake. Did he believe us after all?" Draden asked.
"Not something I considered actually but maybe he did believe us or unless..." Elsa began to wonder.
"Unless what?" Draden asked.
"Unless he's psychic himself" Elsa finally said.
"Let's go and talk to him" Draden said.

A few minutes later Elsa and Draden had returned to the planet to discuss things with TIL. TIL answered his door this time but he didn't look very happy.
"You again?" TIL said.
"May we talk?" Elsa asked politely.
"We got nothing to talk about, so be off with you" TIL snapped.
"You knew what was going to happen didn't you TIL, you knew we were right, what convinced you?, please we want to know, lives are at stake here" Draden begged.
TIL sulked, he opened his door wide and beckoned them inside. A few minutes later TIL was sat on the settee and Elsa and Draden were sat on chairs near by.
"They wouldn't believe me, the first victim was a great friend of mine, I was haunted by visions of these murders before they took place but my friend wouldn't listen no matter how much I told her to keep away from the lake at night. She said I was nuts and okay I'm sorry about yesterday but there are just so many things that I can't explain" TIL said.
"Like you're psychic?" Elsa asked.
"All right you got me on that one I'm a psychic, I saw my death the day before it was to happen so I did what was necessary to make sure that I kept my life. I tried to warn the other girl that would take my place but she said I was nuts too so she took no notice. Guess they wish they'd listened now" TIL said.
"How long have you been psychic?" Elsa asked.
"All my life, I wasn't born on this planet I just ended up here and I've kept my psychic power hidden until recently that's why I've been angry lately. I shouldn't take it out on others because I'm upset that my friends wouldn't believe me and now they're dead. I guess that's life, they were my best friends and I'll never forget them but at least I'm alive and if it wasn't for my gift then I'd be dead too by now" TIL said.
"I don't suppose you have any more info like who is doing the killings do you?" Draden asked.
"All that I know is that it's related to the competition recently" TIL replied.
"We need to get on the inside and sort this out" Draden said.
"If you don't mind putting your lives at risk, I am entitled to give my prize to someone else or even let someone else collect my prize" TIL said.
"Then it's settled, put us in place of the prize and we'll fix this whole situation out" Draden offered.
"This is dangerous but...well something needs to be done" TIL agreed.

Draden and Elsa went along with the plan to take TIL's prize, of which Draden had decided to be the one to take the prize since he was indestructible so if something did go wrong then Draden would be fine but Loopy was a keen fighter so Loopy had been requested to the planet to help due the fighting against the bad guy.
As planned Draden waited by the lake, it soon grew dark and there was no one in sight.
A man soon began to creep up behind Draden with a knife in his hand, he almost looked like Jack the ripper with the knife and the clothes. As the man was about to strike, Draden turned round and kicked the man hard in the stomach.
The man fell back against the ground under a street lamp, revealing it was Jack Van Rosenburg, who was in charge of the competition.
"Jack" Draden said stunned.
Jack got to his feet with a huge innocent grin on his face but Draden was not laughing.
"So you're the killer" Draden said.
"Oh no not me, I came to give a prize, you're cuddly bear remember" Jack replied with a huge grin on his face.
"Cuddly bear, what about those credits?" Draden asked.
"They're here" Jack said. He picked up his knife and swung it at Draden but Draden ducked the blow of the knife.
Draden swung his right foot round to the side of Jack's head and kicked him at the side of his head with his right foot.
Jack went flying to the ground, he got straight back up but he ran off rather than fighting again. As he ran past one of the building Loopy ran out and went chasing after him.
When Jack reached a harbour Arven stepped out in front of him and punched him in the face.
Jack dropped to the floor and Loopy arrived just behind Jack.
Jack got to his feet and turned toward Loopy.
"I'll defeat you with one little kick" Jack teased, he kicked Loopy in the leg but Loopy just stood there laughing.
"Was that supposed to hurt, here let me show you how that kick is done" Loopy kicked Jack in exactly the same way but Jack dropped to his knees crying out in pain.
"Oh what's the matter are you just a little wimp after all?" Loopy teased him.
"Loopy, that's not very polite, you're a ranger now act like one" Arven ordered her angrily.
"Sorry, I guess I shouldn't have teased him I was just hoping for a bigger fight is all" Loopy sulked.

The following day Elsa, Draden and TIL were stood by the lake, of which Elsa and Draden stood side by side while TIL stood in front of them but facing their direction.
"The bad guy Jack has been dealt with, this planet is now safe and so are you are TIL, it was nice meeting you though it's a pity our introduction wasn't more pleasant. Anyway now we leave you in peace, goodbye TIL and take care" Draden said politely.
"Goodbye TIL" Elsa said.
"Don't I get a goodbye kiss" TIL asked Elsa.
"Oh uh...sure" Elsa said but she sounded a little uneasy but gave him a goodbye kiss all the same.
TIL smiled with happiness.
"Come on Elsa, let's go" Draden said.
Draden and Elsa turned to leave.
"Oi, where do you think you're going?" TIL asked them.
Draden and Elsa looked back round toward TIL rather startled.
"You're the only one that believes I'm psychic so you're taking me with you whether you like it or not. Am I making myself clear?" TIL asked.
"What do you think Elsa?" Draden asked Elsa.
Elsa shrugged, she couldn't make her mind up either, in a way they didn't want to turn someone away that wanted to be a ranger but they weren't quite sure about TIL being a ranger.
"Oh come on you know you need TIL to liven up your ranger squad, I mean would you be without me?" TIL asked.
"We'll think about it" Draden decided.
"Think about it! Think about it! There's nothing to think about, you know you want me besides you can't leave me here on this planet after what happened" TIL said.
"You're not going to shut up are you unless we agree to take you with us?" Draden asked.
"Indeed, you know I'd be most valuable" TIL insisted.
Draden sighed, it seemed that they had no choice but to let TIL join the group whether they wanted him or not.
"Fine, welcome aboard Ranger TIL" Draden said.
TIL grinned with happiness.
